There are many different ways that the Chakras may be balanced and
some of these may be :- with the use and placement of specific crystals,
using Reiki energy, vibrational toning such crystal or Tibetan bowls
or with the use of a pendulum.
What is a Chakra?
My definition is:- if you think of your body in the same imagery
as your home, it includes a main power board (which is your spine)
and specific power points (your chakras) that transmits electricity,
or energy. The energy that your chakras emit is experienced by you
as your thoughts and your feelings!
Another definition is; Chakras, a Sanskrit word for
wheel. The Chakras are whirling concentrated energy centres that
are responsible for receiving, assimilating, and transmitting life-force
energy to and within the body.
The Chakras (or power points) draw in Divine life
force energy (also called “ki”, “chi” or
“prana”) from the Universe and distributes this energy
throughout the body for optimum health and well being. They play
a major role in maintaining our physical, emotional and spiritual
well being.
Each of the seven main chakras governs specific aspects of our well
being.
What the Main Chakras mean
:-
Positioned at the base of the spine – the 1st
Chakra (Root) governs Physical Needs and Security, also family
or tribal/society beliefs and upbringing. Its colour is usually
red and also covers the grounding and connection to Mother Earth.
Positioned just below the navel is the 2nd
Chakra (Sacral), which governs Sexuality, Emotions, and Desires.
It is also the seat of creativity and manifestation. Nurturing of
the self. The colour is generally orange.
Positioned just above the navel is the 3rd
Chakra (Solar Plexus), which governs personal Power. It connects
with your sense of empowerment and free will. The Solar Plexus is
the colour of yellow.
The Heart Chakra is the 4th
Chakra and it governs Love, Forgiveness, and Compassion.
It connects with unconditional Love within the Self and for others.
It is the central position for all energies. The three chakras that
lay below the Heart Chakra are to do with earthly energies, and
the three above are to do with spiritual. Green is the colour for
the Heart Chakra.
The 5th Chakra is the Throat, which
governs Communication. It represents the ability to express one’s
truth without fear. It is also your sense of Will. The colour of
the Throat is Blue.
Positioned just above and between the eyebrows is the 6th
Chakra (Brow), which governs Intuition and Reasoning. It
connects to intuition and the ability to see life and the self clearly.
Its colour is Indigo.
The Crown is the 7th Chakra and it
governs Spirituality and communication with the Divine. It is the
access to the Higher Self, the sense of oneness and connection to
Spirit. Its colour is violet.
Imbalances or energy blocks in the chakras are caused when there
are unreleased emotions
such as fear, anger or guilt causing the energy to flow less freely
to and from the chakras. The chakras can become blocked, clogged
with stagnated energy, spin irregularly or backwards or can even
become distorted or torn.
Unbalanced or blocked chakras can create a whole range
of conditions and because the chakras are interconnected, a blockage
or imbalance in one part of the chakra system impacts all the other
chakras, therefore will ultimately reacting upon the exquisite balance
of the individual.
When the chakras are functioning normally, each one
will be open and spinning properly and all aspects of the human
form, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual, will be in beautiful
harmony with the universal energy field.
The body itself is an intelligent life form that wants
to vibrate at a healthy resonance and will readily move from an
out of balance state towards a healthy state when healing therapies
are utilized.
