WHEN YOU ENTER YET ANOTHER TRANSITION

A transition is change but on a very deep level and when you are in it, it can impact upon you to the very core of your being. Now this doesn't mean that it is a 'bad' thing, it just means that you are going through a transformation of a kind that will leave you in a different space.

The difference being a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly rather than a change in clothing!

Our world as we knew it, is going through such a transitional experience and it is called a 'pandemic'! The changes/transformations that are being encountered are leaving many in a place of deep confusion and fear! And this is also normal in the transitional shift.

The transition begins with an ending - something that has come to a conclusion and a deep adjustment has begun which of course throws us off balance. We then move into a void of sorts where are we between what was and what is meant to be! This is where the confusion, fear and panic can occur as we are no longer sure of our direction and what is happening let alone why! And so we react rather than respond, and these reactions can be strong in the emotions, which can also throw us off balance!

This void is where we can gather our thoughts and intentions and, when we are ready, begin to move forward to the 'what will be' and that is up to us! Fear and panic does not move us in a positive direction as we are operating at this time in survival mode - much like what is happening in the world around us.

Now the reason that I am discussing yet another transition in life is due to an ending. As Maggie's Farm is much more than education, healing, therapies and communication; it is very much about the lives that enhance each one of these experiences. And with us, ALL LIVES MATTER.... no matter how small or how large!

It is truly amazing just how profound an impact one being can have on another!

Just very recently - before the beginning of a new year - we experienced the end of very precious era for us here on Maggie's Farm and although there is much grief from this ending there are also many, many precious memories and the profound need to celebrate a magnificent life.

One of my dearest and most beloved friends, as well as greatest teacher and mentor of all things horse, decided that 30 yrs on this earth was long enough and it was time for him to go 'home'!

My precious Donahue was my first horse and instilled in me the deepest love and even deeper understanding of these amazing and often greatly misunderstood and sometime mistreated spiritual beings.

It was Donahue who initiated and was the major catalyst for the adoption of other deserving and innocent beings and even more essentially the 'work' that I am involved in now in the world of emotional, physical and mental healing.

Donahue has been not only a HUGE part of my own spiritual and personal growth, but also the healing and growth of those individuals who connected and interacted with this amazing soul.

Not only being a large presence in size, all 16'1 hands; with his wisdom, his deep compassion and energetic magnetism, he held such presence and command in attention wherever he was with his gentle mentoring and sharing of wisdom with others.

His wise teachings continue, even after his passing, as memories of interactions with him and the impact that he has made on individuals that spent precious time with him are shared with me.

And so we are in a personal transition of transformation, with the conclusion of Donahue's wise herd leadership at an end, now in the void of grief, healing and gathering what will be needed for the future design of our lives.

It is at times like these that it is better for you to ACCEPT and NOT RESIST what is occurring; adapt to the shifts and growths that are being experienced; and know that for everything there is a reason and to everything there is a season!

Sometimes we will know and understand why these things occur and then there will be times that it will always remain a mystery or puzzle. It is at these times that it is better to accept and adapt rather than resist and fight!

ABOUT ME!

Introducing myself - My name is Virginia Ede and over the years, since I began my Natural Therapies business back in 2005, my passion has always been focused upon assisting in the discovery of a gentle release from pain, stress, anxiety and other such physical issues through the means of non invasive modalities such as Bowen Therapy, Reiki and Australian Bush Flowers.

As is in most cases, things shift, change and grow and the journey that I now share with others has transcended beyond being just about addressing the physical pains and discomforts that we all experience at times.

It now includes the reconnecting to the simplicity of our true authentic being, initiating those marvelous healing processes that are much more achievable as well as sustainable.

I created Maggie's Farm to be a safe haven for all in encouraging the processes of varied manners of healing and the transformation that follows.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a deep and loving connection with animals and it is now that I am more able to combine my specialized practitioner skills with the intuitive and instinctive healing expertise of my animal family.
