MAGGIES FARM WELLNESS AND EDUCATIONAL SANCTUARY
Our Heart Felt Intention Dedication is Kindness; Respect; Compassion and most of LOVE!
We are not necessarily a rescue facility but we are indeed a sanctuary for rescued innocent creatures.
At the present time, We care and provide for 11 horses, 5 goats, 3 dogs, 2 cats and about 30 chickens.
And this all began with a dream of protection and guardianship of animals that were no longer wanted and on their last chance at life. Hence our 'pet' name - Home for the Expendables! <3
Our greatest desire is that the world as well as our immediate community grow to understand and care about creatures that deserve respect, admiration and compassion.
With education and a greater awareness from the animal's perspective, they will be treated with kindness, generosity and consideration so that their lives can be long and happy. After all, they don't ask for much!
We have so many stories for each and every one of our animal family who now reside with us and some of those stories are heartening, whilst others - not so! But no matter their history, these amazing creatures continue to share their love and their friendship with all who connect with them,and it is always a wondrous experience!
Often in life we are presented with opportunities to make a difference in the life of another, no matter how small or insignificant we believe it to be.
Sometimes that action may not be easy and it may take much courage and personal effort.
Sometimes those efforts may be the catalyst for change, be it momentous or minute - and there may be times where our intentions and actions may not bring about the outcome we desired.
HOWEVER, what really and truly matters deep down inside where we live; what these innocent beings with whom we share this experience with require from us now and always is ..... that we CARE and that we give it a go. That we don't remain complacent and look away

Every single act, every single strength of conviction, every single desire to make a positive impact has the greatest potential to make a HUGE difference.
